Time Out Enjoys Time In Coastline Villa

We even got our own mountain. That's what we told ourselves at any rate. And indeed the towering, volcano-shaped beauty, as viewed from the private deck, appeared to have been plonked down on the landscape exclusively for our gratification.

Attention to this kind of detail typifies the Coastline experience. Other sensational services we happily took advantage of included the private chef - a quiet lad called Tom from Grimsby - who cooked like he was raised on the baking Mediterranean coast. Wonderful fresh fish, platters heaving with delicious seafood, local meat and lip smacking Corsican wines, were just some of the treats of the feast he knocked up for us one evening. But Tom will and can cook you anything you desire, and cook it beautifully, and he's a dab hand at charming chatty ten year old boys too.

The service from the rest of the team was attentive and yet unobtrusive, and the villa was wonderful - spacious, cool - in both senses of the word - and located a mere 5 minute drive from some of the best beaches in Europe.
