We thought very hard about what to include with your holiday. The essentials of course; you need the most painless way to get there, a car to drive around in, linen and towels and a welcome pack when you arrive, but what else?

A villa offers privacy and seclusion, a relaxing sanctuary away from the outside world. How could we unload some daily chores and help you to enjoy your holiday without getting in the way? Well, we didn’t think you would want to do the cleaning, so a maid will call by twice in the week, they will also change your bath towels and linen once a week. We figured that going to get the bread, croissants and papers in the morning can be a bit tiresome after a while, and so these will be delivered to your door every day. Shopping can be fun for some, and a chore for others, and so you can shop on-line if you choose and have food delivered to your villa. You don’t want our Island Manager calling by every day, but you might want a taxi booked, a yacht chartered, the best table in a beachside restaurant secured or the name of the most likely supplier of a particular vintage of your favourite local wine. For this purpose we have a 24-hour Concierge Line, always available for local help and advice.

A few services we didn’t think all of you would want to pay for and so we charge separately. Cooking outside is fun and flexible and you will probably choose to eat out several times during the week, but perhaps from time to time you would like one of our chefs to come to your villa and cook for you. We all love our kids but sometimes both need a break, and so a private nanny will come to your villa and look after the little ones, they can baby sit too. After a hard day on the beach, a massage or beauty treatment might help you ease your way through to dinner, our masseurs are only a phone call away.

All of our holiday prices include comfortable flights with reputable airlines and car hire on the island, but we know that these won’t suit everyone and so, if you don’t like our airport, flights or car, then you can choose your own, or ask us to quote for an alternative that suits you better. If you would like your car parked at the airport before you travel, then we can arrange this too, together with a night in a hotel close by if you live far away.

We know that most summer villa holidays don’t come with service, but we have found it impossible to shake off our ski chalet heritage, and will do our very best to care for you in as discreet a way as possible.

CHEFS

Barbequing fresh fish, bought from the local quayside, glass of rosé in hand, can be one of the great holiday pleasures. You may also want to explore the local restaurants, and some nights you will just want to chill with a book after a rather large lunch. You can also book one of our Private chefs who will come over and indulge you for the evening. The chefs can be booked all week or just for a special occasion and will tailor make your menus with you beforehand or suggest menus for your event.

Each of our Chefs is fully qualified, naturally. They will call you several days before your booking and discuss your personal requirements. You can select from a range of menus and dishes including all the local specialities and, of course, fresh fish. If you choose, they will also select wines to complement your menu.  The chefs will do all the shopping, preparation, presentation and clear up afterwards, leaving you to enjoy your holiday.

To allow a completely flexible service tailored to your own personal requirements, you pay a fixed fee for the chef and simply reimburse the cost of the produce, for which the receipts are provided. Whether you want to give your Chef carte-blanche to produce a five course gastronomic delight with the very best wines, a more unassuming menu on a fixed budget or simply lobster and Chablis, they will be delighted to advise and oblige. For a modest amount extra he will also arrive a little early and cook the kids’ tea.

Your Private Chef can be requested locally but would be subject to availability. We recommend pre-booking through our London Office to guarantee the evenings you would prefer.

PRIVATE NANNY - CHILDCARE

Family holidays are incredibly precious for time with the kids, but sometimes the adults need a break too, which is why we offer our Private Nanny Service.


Our Nannies will look after your children in the comfort and security of your own villa, allowing you the chance to explore the island, enjoy a long lunch by the beach or perhaps just curl up with a big fat paperback and get through more than half a paragraph without interruption.

All of our nannies are qualified to NNEB or equivalent standard, hold a first aid certificate and have undergone our own rigorous screening and
training programmes. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that you will feel absolutely confident in their ability to care for your children.

Nannies are available on a weekly basis for 5 half or full days, and alsofor ad hoc bookings and evening babysitting. All reservations mustbe made through the London office and are subject to availability.
