Children's Activities
Mallorca is the perfect destination for all ages with activities for all to enjoy as a family. Ranging from water parks and boat trips to 'fun' outings our nannies have explored the island to find the most exciting and suitable activities for the children (and adults) to enjoy. Our nannies can also provide you with recommendations for child friendly beaches and restaurants.
Here are just a few of their suggestions ……….
Waterparks -The biggest water parks are situated in the south of the Island in Magaluf and Arenal. A smaller park in the North is the The Hidropark located in Alcudia which has a good range of slides for all ages and is adjacent to a 54 hole mini-golf course.
Marineland – This is located in the south and excites and delights with its aquarium, penguin pool and museum of Mediterranean species. The weekend offers dolphin and sea lion shows. Apparently you can even swim with the sea lions!
Boat Trips – Chartering a boat for the day can be fun for all. Tudor Dawn in Pollenca offer a fun day cruise with a vast array of ‘toys’ for the older children from water skiing and wake boarding to banana boats and ‘flying mattresses’! Alternatively, why not discover the underwater world with a 2 hour submarine adventure with Nemo Submarine in the south of the island.
Palma Aquarium – is considered one of the greatest in Europe. It offers flora and fauna from the Mediterranean Sea, Indian, Atlantic and Pacific oceans. They claim to have "8000 specimens from 200 different species in 5 million liters of sea water."
Pirates - Set sail on the adventure of a lifetime. The pirate show has amazed over 3 million customers over the past 21 years with its unique blend of acrobatics and breathtaking dancing.
Cuevas del Drach - One of the most famous caves on Mallorca with outstanding features including an underground lake. Inside the caves a classical music concert is performed and afterwards you can enjoy a boat trip on the lake.
Child friendly beaches – are in abundance. Our nannies select the most child friendly based on shallow waters, shade, sand, lifeguard, toilet facilities, accessibility, snack bars and of course icecream. Some examples are Cala Saint Vincent and Puerto Pollenca (platja Llenaire).
Child friendly restaurants – nannies can offer their recommendations for the best restaurants for children. Their criteria is based against food variety, children’s menus, high chair availability and opening times.
