A demanding but rewarding role you will be responsible for providing a professional private chef service according to villa bookings. This will predominately involve the design, preparation and service of an a la carte menu to the highest possible standard. This is an ideal opportunity for those who enjoy the freedom of designing and creating menus as well as sourcing new suppliers and cooking with local produce.
Duties will include: - Menu design and planning (according to guest preferences).
- Preparation and the service of dinner and/or breakfast as requested.
- Researching local produce and cuisine.
- Identifying and liaising with the best suppliers for food in the local area.
- Recommending wines to complement meals.
Skills and Abilities required:
Chefs must ideally be fully qualified with experience in an A La Carte environment, but more than that, you must be creative and talented with an enormous enthusiasm for the Mediterranean and its produce.
