Flights
The air holidays and flights shown are ATOL Protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 3556. ATOL Protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom.
We believe that booking your holiday should be a pleasure, not a chore, and so all Coastline holidays are inclusive of flights.

We recognise the need to be flexible and we are happy to quote you for alternative scheduled or low cost flights and regional airports. Please note that holiday prices to Mallorca and Ibiza are based on standard fares and supplements may be applicable on certain dates subject to availability. All supplements will always be confirmed to you before you make your booking. Flight times are correct at the time of going to press but remain subject to change by the airline. Infants under the age of 2 years at the time of their return flight are not provided with a seat, and will be required to sit on an adult’s lap secured by an extension seat belt provided by the airline.
Timings
Please note that all flight times are local times based on the 24-hour system. Your invoice will show the proposed flight details and your flight tickets will show the actual details. Please check your flight details when you receive your tickets. Finally, check in at least 2 hours before departure.
Flight costs/supplements
Please note that the cost of flights included in the price of your holiday is the expected cost of most flights for that time of the year – at the time of going to press. However, supplements may be applicable on certain routes especially if lower price seats have run out closer to departure date or the flight prices have increased – any/all supplements will be confirmed to you at the time of booking.
Please note that we will need to take an extra deposit at the time of booking for any scheduled flights we book on your behalf. Scheduled flights are non-changeable and non-refundable, so please ensure your details are correct at the time of booking.
Aviation insurance and Security charge
We have included in our prices a charge representing the extra aircraft insurance and security costs, which have been imposed on airlines and tour operators, to the basic price of your holiday. At the time of publication our understanding is that these costs amount to £25 per person for shorthaul holidays, but you should be aware that these costs may change between the date of publication and the time of travel. Since these costs are beyond our control, we reserve the right to increase the amount of this charge at any time. We will of course inform you of any such change should that become necessary. In view of the current volatility of world oil prices, a fuel supplement may be added to the price of your holiday at the time of booking. Please call 0844 557 1020 for the latest information on the fuel supplement.
Passports and visas
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport for the country to which you are travelling, and that you obtain a visa should you require one. If you do not hold a current 10 year passport you should allow sufficient time to obtain one. Regulations covering holders of non-UK passports or British Overseas passports vary and you are advised to check with the relevant consulate for further details. All individuals, including infants and children under 16 years, must have their own passport, unless otherwise advised by the Passport Office. Anyone applying for a new or renewing an existing passport with children included on it must apply for a separate passport for each family member including infants.
Names
The name shown on your ticket should exactly match your name as it appears on your passport, so please ensure that all names are stated correctly at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in you or a member of your party being refused travel. Name changes may be possible on low cost, charter and scheduled flights, but will most likely incur an amendment fee and quite possibly on both legs of the flight.
Baggage allowance
This may vary per airline, however as a general rule 20kgs of hold luggage per fare paying passenger (excluding infants) is permissible. One small cabin bag per fare paying passenger (excluding infants) and weighing no more than 5kg is allowed in the aircraft. Your luggage allowance will be shown on your ticket. Failure to comply with the luggage allowance stated may result in excess baggage charges or baggage being off-loaded from the aircraft.
Lost/Damaged baggage – under the Montreal Convention, you must notify the airline of any loss or damage to your baggage within 7 days of the discovery of the loss/damage. Beyond this time no liability will be accepted.
Flight delays
In the unlikely event of a flight delay over 3 hours, in conjunction with the airline, we will endeavour to provide refreshments appropriate to the time of day and length of the delay. In the event of an extended delay, we will endeavour to make arrangement for overnight accommodation; however this is not guaranteed and will depend on local circumstances. Airlines do not offer compensation for inconvenience or loss of holiday time caused by flight delays and it is not possible to obtain refunds for any unused accommodation or car hire in the event of an extended delay. Please check your insurance policy for details of cover relating to flight delay.
Special requirements
Meals: Requests for special in-flight meals should be made at the time of booking.
Assistance: Should you or a member of your party require special assistance to board an aircraft due to a medical condition, full details of this must be given at the time of booking. However, whilst we can assure that any relevant request will be passed on to the airline, we cannot guarantee delivery of this request.
Pregnancy: If you are more than 28 weeks pregnant at the time of travelling you will need a certificate of fitness to fly. Most airlines will refuse permission for anyone more than 32 weeks pregnant.
Golf clubs: If you wish to take your own golf clubs or other sporting equipment on holiday, please be aware that airlines will generally accept this but you need to pre book this service before you travel and be aware that charges will apply. Carriage is based on subject to load/space available basis and consequently carriage is subject to capacity available on the day of departure.
Alcohol on Flights
You are not allowed to drink your own alcohol on a flight, whether you bought it on board, on holiday or in the UK.
Deep Vein Thrombosis
Travel involving prolonged immobility can cause deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This occurs when a blood clot forms, usually in the lower leg. The risk of deep vein thrombosis occurring while travelling by air is extremely low. However, you can take precautions to further reduce the risk. Exercise your feet and legs from time to time, or walk around if that is possible. Elastic stockings may be helpful. Drink plenty of non-alcoholic liquids to prevent dehydration.
Disorderly behaviour
The captain has authority over the aircraft and passengers at all times when they are boarding or are on board. He/she may prevent you from travelling if you are considered unfit to do so.
